Work Mode

Work attire is a big part of any women’s closet. Working professionals need to plan their business outfits on a daily basis, stay at home mothers need to dress up for parent-teacher conferences and other professional school functions, and full-time bloggers need to dress up for brand and sponsor meetings. Regardless your full-time  career, it is vital for all women to have profressional work attire in their closet.

Most business attire is boring because they are modest outfits. You do not want to show too much chest, too much shoulder, or too much leg with any professional outfit. But modest does not have to be boring! Go for pieces that cover you up but try to add some details that give the piece sass. Buy staple pieces; a few pants, skirts, tops, and jackets and mix and match colors and prints. You can easily turn an all black outfit to something fun by adding a jacket with a pop of color. You don’t always have to wear business suits. But if you prefer business suits buy a few sets and mix and match the jackets and pants.

For my work attire I went with black and white but chose pieces that are not boring whatsoever.

My blouse is perfect because it covers me in all the right places and it is fun to wear. I enjoyed playing with the balloon sleeves, which are trending. And instead of tying the waist tie in the back I tied it in the front for added detail.

I could have worn a simple black slack but I decided to take it up a notch. My pants are wide leg crop with a slit on the side that goes up my mid calf. I felt confident and sexy in the pants without revealing too much skin.

I paired the outfit with my favorite neutral pumps and a Chanel Boy Bag.
